What is difference between surf casting rod and carp rod?

Surf casting rods and carp rods both belong to long‑distance shore‑fishing equipment,sharing similar length ranges and high casting power.However,they are optimized for completely different environments:surf‑casting rods are built for salt‑water coastal beaches,while carp rods are designed for freshwater lakes and reservoirs.Distinctions in blank action,casting weight,hardware configuration,stress tolerance and anti‑corrosion capability lead to different practical performance,even though they may look alike at first glance.
